History is made today as David Beckham‘s pectorals land the cover on Elle magazine UK, the first time a man has graced the spot solo since… well, except for that one time.

Subscribers of Elle UK, which arrives today (5/30), will receive a special cover that shows David’s shirtless body emerging from a pool whilst wearing a snug-fitting soaking wet pair of Dior Homme jeans. (Editor’s note: Feel free to take a cigarette break, I know that was a lot to handle.) The issue that hits newsstands will show David in a grey t-shirt.
